  • ReliefAid was founded in 2015, by Kiwi Mike Seawright, with the vision of saving lives and alleviating the suffering of people affected by armed conflict through independent and impartial humanitarian action. By July 2023 they have delivered emergency aid to over 350,000 people in Ukraine, Syria and Afghanistan. Following the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 Mike Seawright went to Ukraine to see how they could help. As a result, ReliefAid has been on the ground since March 2022 actively delivering humanitarian aid. Their aid interventions have included the distribution of emergency shelter materials, food, medical supplies, clothing, wood-fired stoves, and solar lamps. The aid deliveries reach people in front-line areas including Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Preobrazhenka, and Kherson (responding to the flooding). The team prides itself on being on the ground and able to respond swiftly to emergencies, ensuring that aid reaches those in urgent need in a timely manner.
