The ANZ–Ukraine Cooperation Forum has launched this year with an inaugural first-of-its-kind event that took place in Lviv, Ukraine, from 1–3 March 2026, bringing together leaders from multiple sectors and civil society to build partnerships and explore practical opportunities for cooperation.

In partnership with the New Zealand Ukraine Business Association, Australian counterparts, and organisations across Ukraine, New Zealand, and Australia, Mahi for Ukraine leads the Australia–New Zealand–Ukraine Cooperation Forum — a cross-sector platform connecting partners across regions.

The Forum brings together leaders from defence, emergency services, business, innovation, philanthropy, and government to enable practical, two-way cooperation, share expertise, and advance collaboration across priority areas.

It provides direct access to on-the-ground Ukrainian capability, facilitates meaningful engagement with counterparts, and supports the development of immediate and long-term partnership pathways between Australia, New Zealand, and Ukraine.

March 2026 - Format

Two-day, in-person event in Lviv, Ukraine
Includes structured sessions across both days,
with additional networking opportunities and optional pre-events.

Thematic tracks

  • Sessions are organised across dedicated tracks, featuring:

    • Panel discussions

    • Plenary sessions and keynotes

    • Expert briefings and focused discussions

    • Interactive sessions and networking

    • Optional pre-events and side activities linked to the Forum programme

In-person participation only
The Forum is designed as an in-person event to support meaningful engagement and relationship-building.

All sessions and materials will be delivered in English.
